Anime synergy
Grouping characters from the same anime gives a bonus — but the middle ground is the worst place you can be.

1.The table
The bonus comes from the largest group of same-anime characters in the team:
- 2 from the same anime: +6%
- 3 from the same anime: +14%
- 4 from the same anime: +24%
- 5 from the same anime: +36%
2.The bonus goes into the same pot
Synergy enters the same sum as stars and escort, and that sum multiplies base stats exactly once. It is not a bonus on top of the total.
That changes how you read it: measured in the engine, on a raw character that same +36% synergy returns +37% of final power. On the same character at level 100 with a full escort and 5 stars, it returns 9.7%.
Which is why the middle ground is a trap
In the Mythic rank teams we measured, 5 characters from the same anime win 64% of the time and no synergy at all wins 47%. But 4 from the same anime win only 25%.
The explanation is simple: to group four of the same anime you gave up a good character and gained +24% in a pot that was already full. Closing all five pays off; stopping at four is the worst of both worlds.
3.The practical rule
Either you close all five from the same anime, or you build the best possible team without looking at the anime at all. Stopping halfway is the decision that costs the most wins in the game.
